Nazm Afarinan Sanat Sahand Co. was established in 2014 (1393 SH) and began its operations by managing Support Container Terminal No. 1 at Shahid Rajaee Port, aiming to provide container services to cargo owners at the largest commercial port in Iran.

One year after commencing its port operations, and in order to expand its presence and services in other national ports, Sahand invested in Terminal No. 4 at Imam Khomeini Port for the construction and operation of a mechanized grain silo and specialized port facilities, with a handling capacity exceeding 3 million tons of grain per year.

Focusing its activities in the two major and strategic southern ports of the country, and supported by more than 600 skilled and experienced personnel, Sahand has achieved significant progress in establishing constructive cooperation with the Ports and Maritime Organization, while continuously enhancing service quality and customer satisfaction. Among its notable achievements are being recognized as the National Model Operator (2019 / 1398), attaining the highest grain unloading record (2021 / 1400), and receiving the title of Model Employer (2023 / 1402) at Imam Khomeini Port.
